ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

MSNA has four $500 scholarships available to MSNA school nutrition members. Applicants can choose from 1 of 5 conferences (LAC new for 2025!):

    • SNA Legislative Action Conference (LAC): March 9-11, 2025, Washington D.C. Be part of advocacy in action when you attend SNA’s Legislative Action Conference in the nation’s capital. Learn more here.
    • SNA National Leadership Conference (NLC): April 24-26, 2025, Columbus, OH. Tailored for state association leaders to learn, network and build leadership skills. Learn more here.
    • SNA Annual National Conference (ANC): July 13-15, 2025, San Antonio, TX. Unites thousands of school nutrition program operators, industry partners, and allied organizations for an unparalleled educational and networking experience. Learn more here.
    • MSNA Annual Conference: August 3-6, 2025, Mayo Civic Center, Rochester, MN. Audience includes school nutrition directors, managers, staff, and industry partners. The exhibit show is held on Tuesday, August 5. Learn about the most recent conference here.
    • MSNA School Nutrition and Industry Partner (SNIP) Conference: Fall 2025, Grand View Lodge, Nisswa, MN. Audience includes school nutrition directors and industry partners. Learn about the most recent conference here.

Scholarship money can be used for travel, hotel or registration. Scholarship recipients must turn in receipts to prove payment prior to being reimbursed.

Scholarships are made possible by the MSNA scholarship fund. Thank you to those who participated in the raffle at the MSNA 2024 Annual Conference, which contributed to this scholarship fund.

 

WHAT AN MSNA SCHOLARSHIP MEANS

Learn what an MSNA scholarship has meant to one of our 2024 recipients. Jeffrey Campbell, Director of Foodservice and Nutrition for Saint Charles Public Schools, was awarded a scholarship to attend the MSNA Annual Conference on August 4-7 in St. Cloud.

 "Receiving this scholarship has positively impacted my career goals. Becoming a confident Director in lieu of a relevant degree has taken a TON of seeking out opportunities to expose myself to other and more experienced K12 professionals. Every year, I take a great deal away from the conference in knowledge and confidence. Our district's financial situation, in conjunction with the learning curve, has left us financially unable to send myself or my staff on relevant training expeditions. Attending the conference is, in my opinion, the most valuable few days of preparations I can invest in myself each year as I continue to grow and learn how to be a great Director.
